Tender Description
The Office of Project Director (GSC) at Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) is procuring civil works for the construction of foundations for a new 132KV double circuit transmission line feeding the newly proposed 132KV Grid Station DHA Bahawalpur. This project is located in Multan City, Punjab. The procurement is under Tender No. 04/GSC (2026-27) with reference P69332 and is planned for the financial year 2026-27.

- Reinforced cement concrete spread foundations using SR Cement Sakhi Sarwar Sand & Crush
- Excavation, stub setting, dewatering, shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, curing, backfilling, leveling and grading

The scope includes construction of tower foundations for a 12-kilometer 132KV transmission line using quality materials and workmanship as per WCSR 2022 standards. The site is near the 132KV Grid Station on Khanewal Road, Multan. The contractor must have PEC Category C-5 with specialization codes CE-10 and CE-02, be on the active tax payer list (ATL), and have completed at least two similar contracts awarded by WAPDA/NTDC/DISCOs with a consolidated value exceeding 60% of the estimated cost. Registration with Punjab Revenue Authority for sales tax and an average annual turnover of at least 1.5 times the BOQ amount for the last three years is mandatory.
The bid submission deadline is Monday, August 17, 2026 at 11:00 AM via EPADS v2.0. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of Pay Order, Banker's Cheque, Call at Deposit, or Demand Draft. The technical and financial bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM. The contract performance guarantee is 10% of the contract price. The contract will be awarded on a Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) basis.
