Construction of Girls Hostel Blocks A and B at LIMHS Thatta Campus

Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences Jamshoro invites bids electronically through EPADS on a Single Stage Two Envelope Procedure from well reputed Firms/Companies registered with valid Pakistan Engineering Council registration in Category C-4 or above and discipline CE-09, CE-10 & EE-04, EE-06, along with valid registration with Tax Authorities (FBR & SRB) and a valid Electrical license issued by the Government of Sindh. The works are for LIMHS Thatta and LUMHS Jamshoro. Items being procured: - Construction of Girls Hostel at LIMHS, Thatta Campus (Block-A) - Construction of Girls Hostel at LIMHS, Thatta Campus (Block-B) The scope includes construction works at the LIMHS Thatta Campus, specifically two blocks of girls hostels. Bidders must have relevant PEC categories and valid electrical licenses to undertake these works. Experience in similar nature of works executed during the last five years is mandatory, with either one similar work costing at least 80% of the estimated cost or two similar works each costing at least 50% of the estimated cost. Submission of satisfactory performance certificates and completion certificates issued by the procuring agency is required. Additional eligibility criteria include details of office, equipment, machinery, and transport owned, leased, or hired by the firm. Financial statements and income tax returns for the last five years supported by audit reports must be submitted. An affidavit confirming the firm is not involved in any litigation or blacklisted by any department is also required. Technical proposals will be opened in the presence of committee members and bidders or their representatives. Financial proposals of only technically qualified bidders will be opened subsequently. Bidding documents can be obtained and submitted through EPADS as per the schedule. A bid security of 5% of the bid cost in the form of pay order or demand draft (refundable to unsuccessful bidders) in favor of Vice Chancellor, LUMHS Jamshoro is mandatory. The Procuring Agency reserves the right to reject any bid subject to relevant provisions of SPP rules 2010 and may cancel the bidding process at any time prior to acceptance of any bid or proposal as per SPPRA rules (Amended Up-to date). The tender fee for each block is Rs. 5,000. The submission deadline is 3rd November 2026 up to 10:00 a.m. Technical bid opening is on the same day at 11:00 a.m. for Block-A and 11:30 a.m. for Block-B. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your PEC registration category and electrical license are valid and up to date before applying. Also, carefully prepare your technical proposal to meet all eligibility criteria to avoid disqualification at the technical evaluation stage.
