The Provincial Highway Division Hyderabad invites sealed bids for the construction of a major infrastructure project at Malir Expressway, Hyderabad. This project includes the construction of an interchange, interchange road, and approach road at Malir Expressway, a pre-stressed overhead bridge spanning 475.50 meters at Shahra-e-Bhutto, and a connecting road from the Malir Expressway interchange to Education City. The procuring agency is the Executive Engineer, Provincial Highway Division Hyderabad. Items being procured: - Construction of Interchange and 30m wide Interchange Road - 25m wide Approach Road at Malir Expressway - Pre-stressed Overhead Bridge (475.50 m) at Shahra-e-Bhutto - Road connecting Malir Expressway Interchange to Education City - Reinforced Earth Wall Work - Bridge Work including piling, concrete works, prestressing strands, launching girders, expansion joints, bearing pads, and related civil works - Bridge Lighting Work including poles, cables, earthing, LED lights, and control panels - Horticulture Work including soil supply, manure, ground cover, grass, stone laying, and tree plantation The technical scope covers extensive civil works including earthworks, sub-base and base course preparation, asphalt paving, reinforced concrete structures, piling, prestressing, bridge launching, and electrical installations for bridge lighting. The project also includes landscaping and horticulture as per approved designs. Eligibility criteria require bidders to be licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in category CA or above, registered with relevant tax authorities, and capable of undertaking large-scale civil works. Joint ventures with foreign firms are allowed under PEC regulations. A bid security of 5% of the bid amount is required.
