Tender Description
This tender invites contractors to undertake various construction and maintenance works at Malir Cantonment, Karachi, issued by Military Engineer Services. The scope includes construction of miscellaneous minor works, repair, renovation, and maintenance of residential and non-residential buildings, along with technical and electrical & mechanical works across multiple zones within the cantonment area.
The works require expertise in civil construction, building repairs, and electrical & mechanical installations. Contractors will handle tasks such as building restoration, structural repairs, and supply of bazar materials for both building and electrical/mechanical items. The site is located in a strategic military cantonment, demanding adherence to strict quality and security standards. Engineering challenges include managing diverse building types and ensuring timely completion within the specified zones.
Applicants must be enlisted with MES in categories A to E and registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). Firms not on the approved MES list must provide detailed experience certificates for the last two years. Compliance with FBR/ATL status and PEC registration for the 2025-26 financial year is mandatory. Contractors should ensure their credentials and technical bids meet all regulatory requirements to avoid disqualification.
The submission deadline is set for 23 February 2026 at 11:30 AM, with bid opening at 12:00 PM on the same day. Applications must be submitted to the office of the accepting officer at GE (Army) II Malir.
