Tender Description
The Communication & Works Department, 8th Buildings Division Lahore, invites bids for the construction of MNHC Gulberg Zone Mushtaq Ahmed Gurmari Road Lahore. This tender is based on item rates approved by DNIT and requires contractors/firms enlisted with PEC for the current financial year with the relevant specialization code. The contractor must produce the original PEC License mentioning the required specialization codes; those without the relevant code will not be entertained.

The procurement will be conducted through the Punjab e-Procurement System at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk, developed by PITB and regulated by PPRA. Tender documents including DNIT and terms and conditions are available on the Punjab e-Procurement System and PPRA website http://ppra.punjab.gov.pk. Bidders must submit their bids online; manual bids will not be accepted.
Earnest money amounting to 5% of the estimated cost (Rs. 749700) must be submitted via 1-link or Online Bank Transfer through PSID generated on the Punjab e-Procurement System before the bid submission deadline. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids as per PPRA rules without justification.
Key dates include the last date for bid submission on the website as 10.09.2026 at 11:00 AM, with bid opening at 11:30 AM the same day. If a government holiday falls on the deadline, the next working day will be considered.
Bidders are advised to ensure timely registration on the Punjab e-Procurement System and to carefully review the DNIT and tender documents to avoid disqualification. Proper preparation of the bid security and adherence to submission deadlines are critical for successful participation.
