Tender Description
The Pakistan Kidney & Liver Institute and Research Center (PKLI & RC) Lahore invites bids for the procurement of racks and civil work specifically for the Medical Record department. This procurement is aimed at enhancing the infrastructure and storage facilities within the medical records section of the institute located in Lahore.
Items being procured:
- Racks for Medical Record
- Civil Work related to Medical Record
The scope includes the supply and installation of racks along with associated civil works to improve the storage and management of medical records. The project requires adherence to quality standards and timely completion as per the specifications detailed in the bidding documents.
Eligible bidders must be registered vendors or firms with valid income tax and sales tax registration. Bidders are required to submit their bids through the Punjab E-Procurement System (e-Procurement) following the Single Stage Single Envelope bidding procedure as per PPRA-2014 rules. A bid security of 2% of the estimated cost amounting to PKR 149,580 must accompany the bids, paid through PSID.
The bidding documents can be downloaded free of cost from the official PKLI website and Punjab government procurement portals. Bids must be submitted online on or before 11th September 2026 at 11:00 AM. The bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM in the presence of bidders or their representatives.
A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 31st August 2026 at 11:00 AM in the conference room of PKLI. Bidders are advised to attend this meeting to clarify any queries. The bid validity period is 180 days from the date of bid opening.
One practical tip for bidders is to ensure timely online submission through the Punjab E-Procurement System and to avoid submitting hard copies, as these are not required and will not be accepted. Also, ensure all required documents and bid security are properly uploaded to avoid disqualification.
