Tender Description
The Executive Engineer Education Works (E) Division Larkano is procuring construction and repair works for new and old school buildings in Taluka Shahdadkot, Qubo Saee Khan, and Sijawal Junejo within District Kamber Shahdadkot, Sindh. The project includes construction at GBPS Village Abdul Ghafoor Magsi Taluka Qubo, GBPS Muhammad Khan Magsi Taluka Sijawal, GBPS Muhammad Ramzan Magsi Taluka Qubo, and GBPS Siqandar Ali Magsi Taluka Qubo with electrical wiring and installation works.
The technical scope covers civil construction of school buildings and repair works along with detailed electrical wiring including light and fan points, plug points, PVC insulated copper conductors, circuit breakers, ceiling fans, and associated electrical fittings. The work involves surface wiring in PVC conduits, fixing of brass batten holders, bakelite ceiling roses, and installation of energy saver fans and mild steel bar fan clamps suitable for RCC roofs.
Eligible bidders must have valid NTN, Profession Tax, registration with Sindh Revenue Board and FBR, and an Electric Inspectorate License for the concerned region. Experience in similar works executed in the last five years is mandatory, with at least one work costing 80% of the estimated cost or two works each costing 50%. The average annual financial turnover should not be less than the project cost in the last five years. Bid security of 5% of the estimated cost is required along with a performance security of 5% from the successful bidder.
The tender documents can be obtained from the office near High Court Building, CMC Road Larkano. The deadline for bid submission and opening is seven days after the publish date, with bids to be submitted in a sealed envelope at the Executive Engineer's office. The contract period is 15 months from the written order to commence.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all corrections in the bid are clearly rewritten with initials and stamps, and to provide all required documents including authorization letters for signatories. Timely submission before the deadline is critical as late bids will be rejected. Earnest Money in the form of bid security must be furnished to avoid disqualification.
