Tender Description
The School Education & Literacy Department Government of Sindh Karachi is procuring construction and re-construction services for existing schools in Sindh affected by the Rain and Flood of 2022. This tender specifically covers Package No. 49 in District Kambar Shahdadkot, involving the construction of 3-classroomed primary schools at two units: GBPS Allah Rakhio Choliani and GBPS Dengal Machhi Warrah. The estimated cost for this package is **PKR 33.549 Million**.
The technical scope includes civil works such as dismantling, excavation, reinforced cement concrete, brickwork, plastering, flooring, and finishing. Additionally, water supply and sanitation works including installation of sanitary fixtures, UPVC piping, and electrical works such as wiring, fittings, and circuit breakers are part of the contract. The project site is located in Sindh province, and all works must comply with the attached drawings and specifications based on CSR-2024.
Eligible bidders must hold a valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration in Category C-5 or above with specialization codes EE04, CE09, and CE10. A valid Electrical License from the Government of Sindh for the concerned region is mandatory. Bidders must be active on the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) or Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) Active Taxpayer List (ATL). Experience requirements include at least one similar nature work costing 80% of the estimated cost or two works each costing 50% within the last five years, supported by satisfactory completion certificates. Financial soundness with an average annual turnover not less than the project cost over the last five years is required. Technical staff and equipment details must be submitted as per bidding documents.
The bid submission deadline is **02 June 2026 at 11:00 AM**, with bid opening at 11:30 AM the same day via the EPAD system at the office of the Project Director, ADP Scheme # 2941, located at 2nd Floor, Old KDA Building, Sindh Secretariat No. 3, Karachi. Bids must be uploaded on the EPAD portal. The bid security amount is **PKR 1.675 Million**. Performance security of 10% of the contract price will be required from the successful bidder.
