Tender Description
This tender invites qualified contractors to undertake the construction and reconstruction of 16 primary and elementary schools damaged by rain and floods in 2022, located in Jacobabad district, Sindh. The Executive Engineer Education Works Division Jacobabad is managing this project under the Provincial ADP 282 Schemes 2023-24. The scope includes dismantling, excavation, reinforced cement concrete works, brickwork, roofing, plumbing, sanitary fittings, and finishing works as per detailed specifications and standard engineering practices. The site is in Garhi Khairo Taluka, requiring contractors to manage logistics and site challenges typical of flood-affected areas.
Contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category for the financial year 2025-26 and demonstrate financial capacity with a turnover of at least 80% of the estimated cost. They should provide evidence of completed and ongoing similar works, technical staff qualifications, and available equipment. Bid security of 5% of the estimated cost is mandatory, along with a tender fee of PKR 3000. The contract duration is 16 months with a fixed price contract and no escalation.
Bidders should ensure compliance with PEC registration, FBR active taxpayer list (ATL), and Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) requirements.
