The Provincial Highway Division Jamshoro is inviting bids for the construction of a road from Aral Head to Nursing School Road along the inspection path covering Mile 0/0 to 4/0+330' (6.50 Kms). This project is funded under the ADP scheme with an estimated cost of **PKR 646.727 million**. The procurement is being conducted through a Single Stage Single Envelope method. Items being procured: - Earthwork for road embankment by bulldozer including ploughing, mixing, clod breaking, dressing and compacting with optimum moisture content (6092000 Cft at 85% and 574100 Cft at 95-100% Modified AASHO density) - Preparing sub-base course by supplying and spreading stone metal 1-1/2"-2" gauge with hand packing and filling voids with pit/canal sand - Laying brick on end edging including supply of first class burnt bricks (44200 Rft) - Preparing base course by supplying and spreading stone metal of approved quality in two layers (437182 Cft) - Two coats of surface dressing with bitumen 80/100 penetration and Bajri 1/2"-3/4" gauge (529900 Sft) - Three coats of surface dressing with bitumen 80/100 penetration and Bajri 1/2"-3/4" gauge (265000 Sft) - Laying 2" (50mm) thick Asphalt Concrete (Wearing Course Plant Mix) mechanically to proper line and grade (529900 Sft) - Pavement marking in reflective thermo plastic paint for lines of 6" width (55200 Rft) - Supplying and fixing reflectorized road studs double face flush surface type (3200 Nos) - Providing and fixing 3' dia G.I single post circular traffic signs (10 Nos) - Providing and fixing precast RCC kilometer posts including foundation work (7 Nos) - Non-schedule item: Overhead gantry sign made on full cube diamond grade reflective sheeting with steel structure and concrete (1 No) The technical scope includes earthworks, sub-base and base course preparation, surface dressing, asphalt laying, road marking, and installation of traffic safety features including signs and kilometer posts. The site is located in Jamshoro, Sindh province.
