Tender Description
District Council Jhelum invites sealed bids through Punjab E-procurement portal from contractors registered on Punjab E-PAIDS for the year 2026-27. The bidding follows the Single Stage Single Envelope procedure under Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 and is open to all eligible bidders. Bids must be accompanied by bid security of the required amount through Punjab E-PAIDS.
Items being procured:
- Construction of street and drain at Ghaziot, Tehsil Sohawa, District Jhelum (Estimated Cost: Rs. 14.017 Million, Bid Security: Rs. 700,850)
- Construction of main street and nullah at Saroba, Tehsil PD Khan, District Jhelum (Estimated Cost: Rs. 19.436 Million, Bid Security: Rs. 971,300)
The bidding documents containing detailed terms and conditions can be downloaded free of cost from the Punjab E-procurement website. Bids must be submitted by 10:00 AM on 24-01-2026 through Punjab E-procurement portal and will be opened on the same day at 02:30 PM in the presence of bidders or their representatives at the office of District Council Jhelum.
Bidder must submit bid security on Punjab E-procurement portal; CDRs will be refunded after evaluation. In case of equal lowest bids, the lowest bidder shall deposit additional performance security from 5% to 10% within 15 days. The quoted rates must be item-wise and clearly readable; incomplete or ambiguous bids will be rejected. The competent authority may reject bids prior to approval under PPRA Rules 2014.
Eligibility requires registration on Punjab E-PAIDS and compliance with Punjab Local Government (Works) Rules 2017. Bidding documents are also available on PPRA Punjab website.
