The Local Government & Community Development (LG&CD) Civil Division Gujrat invites electronic bids from eligible contractors/firms registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the construction of streets and drains in various villages of District Gujrat under the Punjab e-Procurement System. Bidders must be registered with PEC in the relevant category and have valid FBR registration and Active Taxpayer List (ATL) status. A Bid Security of 5% of the estimated cost must be submitted through a Digital Bank Guarantee or Pay Order in favor of the Executive Engineer LG&CD Civil Division Gujrat. Bids must be submitted electronically via the Punjab e-Procurement System by 08-09-2014 at 12:30 PM. Late bids will not be accepted. The bids will be opened on the same day at 01:00 PM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. The lowest evaluated responsive bidder will be awarded the contract. A practical tip for bidders: Carefully review the BOQ and ensure all required documents, including PEC registration, FBR certificates, and bid security, are complete and valid to avoid disqualification.
