Construction and Transportation Works for 132KV D/C and 220/132KV G/S Jouharabad Circuits

Faisalabad Electric Supply Company Limited (FESCO) invites bids through E-Bids V2.0 from contractors registered with Pakistan Engineering Council and renewed for the Year 2026-27. The bidding is conducted under National Competitive Bidding (NCB) basis with a single stage – single envelope procedure in accordance with PPRA Rules-2004 amended up to date. Items being procured: - Construction of tower pile foundations for 132KV D/C T/Line in & out 220/132KV G/S Jouharabad – Shahpur – Chidru Circuit (Tender No. 36) - Transportation, Shifting, Erection & Stringing for 132KV D/C T/Line in & out at 220/132KV G/S Jouharabad – Shahpur – Chidru Circuit (Tender No. 37) - Construction of tower pile foundations for 132KV D/C T/Line in & out at 220/132KV G/S Jouharabad – Jouharabad – Quaidabad Circuit (Tender No. 38) - Transportation, Shifting, Erection & Stringing for 132KV D/C T/Line in & out at 220/132KV G/S Jouharabad – Jouharabad – Quaidabad Circuit (Tender No. 39) The technical scope includes construction and erection works for high voltage transmission lines and associated substations. Contractors should collect drawings from the concerned office and visit the site to visualize conditions. Materials such as SR Cement, Crush Margala, and equivalent sand are specified for earthwork. The work completion periods range from 15 to 30 days depending on the lot. Eligibility criteria require PEC registration with specified specializations, active PRA registration, ATL status, and FBR registration. Bidders must have completed at least two similar contracts within the last ten years with a consolidated value exceeding 40% of the estimated BOQ cost. Average annual turnover should be at least half the amount mentioned. Bid security of 5% of BOQ amount is mandatory, payable to Project Director GSC FESCO Faisalabad. Bid security must be valid for 28 days beyond bid validity, and bids remain valid for 150 days. Bids will be opened at the office of Project Director GSC FESCO Faisalabad on 3rd November 2026 at specified times. In case of government holidays, the opening will be deferred to the next working day. Tender documents must be signed and stamped, and a certificate mentioning the number of pages must be submitted. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your bid security (CDR) is submitted one day before the bid opening date and clearly marked with the tender number and title to avoid rejection. Also, carefully review the mix design differences as per NTDC letter and incorporate earthwork items accordingly.
