Construction of Washing and Sterilization Rooms at PMDC Salt Mines Warcha, Khewra, Jata B. Khel

The Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation Islamabad (PMDC) is procuring construction services for Washing and Sterilization Rooms at three of its salt mines located in Warcha, Khewra, and Jata B. Khel. This tender invites eligible contractors to submit bids for civil, electrical, and plumbing works at these sites in Islamabad Capital Territory. Items being procured: - Excavation for foundation trenches and drains in gravelly soil - Backfilling with approved earth - P.C.C 1:4:8 concrete in foundations - RCC 1:2:4 foundations, columns, plinth beams, lintel beams, and slabs - Brick masonry work in foundation and superstructure - Reinforcement bars for RCC works - Cement plastering on walls and roofs - Distemper and weather shield painting - Floor and wall tiles in bathrooms - PVC/UPVC doors and MS steel door frames - Electrical wiring with PVC insulated copper wires in uPVC conduits - Installation of ceiling lights, LED tube lights, switches, sockets, and exhaust fans - PPRC pipes and fittings for plumbing - Shower sets, tee cocks, wash basins, squatting type W.C. pans - Floor wastes, floor traps, gully traps, UPVC pipes, and manholes The scope covers detailed construction and finishing works including excavation, concrete works, masonry, plastering, painting, electrical installations, and sanitary fittings. The works must comply with relevant standards and use approved materials and brands such as Bestway cement, Berger paints, and Schneider electrical fittings. Eligible bidders must have valid NADRA citizenship, FBR registration, PEC category for construction works, and at least 3 years of relevant experience with government or reputable organizations. They must submit a bid security and comply with all tender conditions including technical and financial requirements. The tender is published on EPADS v2.0 with a submission deadline of Monday, August 10, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Bids must be submitted electronically through EPADS. Manual submissions will not be accepted. The bid opening will be conducted online on the same day at 11:30 AM. The contract duration for each project is 4 months with a defect liability period of 12 months.
