The scope of work involves civil construction at the specified site, requiring contractors to have relevant PEC registration in category C-5 and valid KPRA and FBR registrations. The project demands adherence to the MRS-2022 (2nd bi-annual) rates with a bid security of 2% of the engineer's estimate. After award, the successful bidder must sign the agreement and may be required to replace the security with a bank guarantee.
A practical tip for bidders: Carefully review the MRS-2022 rates and prepare a detailed rate analysis to avoid disqualification for non-convincing pricing. Early submission and compliance with all registration requirements will strengthen your bid's responsiveness.
