Construction of Work Bench in Metrology Lab at Dawood University of Engineering & Technology Karachi

Dawood University of Engineering & Technology (DUET), Karachi invites bids for the construction of a work bench in the Metrology Lab of the Industrial Department located on the 3rd floor of the main building at Jinnah Campus. This procurement is for civil, electrical, plumbing, and furniture works required to complete the project within one month as per the tender schedule. Items being procured: - Porcelain tile flooring and wall distempering - Marble top and cabinet structure - Central table lasni made (12'x4'x48") - Aluminum wall partitions with 5mm thick glass - Electrical works including PVC insulated copper conductors, circuit breakers, LED lights, power plugs, industrial sockets, and 1.5 Ton DC inverter air conditioners with installation - Plumbing works including UPVC pipes, fittings, valves, and tee stop cocks - Furniture including executive table with side rack, executive revolving chair, visitor chairs, cabinet, dustbin, green and white boards, and artificial flower decoration plant The technical scope covers all materials and workmanship as per the detailed Bill of Quantities and specifications. The site is located at DUET Karachi, and all works must comply with the relevant standards and be completed within the stipulated time. Eligibility criteria include valid registration with PEC, NTN, GST, and SRB, at least 5 years of relevant experience, active taxpayer status, and submission of bid security and tender fee as specified. Bidders must be registered on the SPPRA EPADS portal and submit bids online by the closing date. The tender fee is Rs. 3000 (non-refundable) and bid security is Rs. 116,269 in the form of Pay Order, Demand Draft, or Bank Guarantee in favor of DUET Karachi. Bids will be opened online on 11-09-2026 at 4:00 PM. Late, conditional, or unsigned bids will be rejected. Bidders are advised to carefully review the bidding documents available on the SPPRA EPADS portal and DUET website. Submission of bids must be done through the EPADS portal and hard copies submitted to the Director (ICT), DUET.
