Consultancy for Certifying Body of ISO-9001:2015 Certification for PNSC Workshop

The PNSC (PNSC Workshop) located at 30 Dharamshala Street, Keamari, Karachi, is inviting proposals for consultancy services for the certifying body of ISO-9001:2015 certification specifically for the PNSC Workshop. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and will be conducted through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 platform. The consultancy involves certification services for the workshop's quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 standards. Items being procured: - Consultancy for certifying body of ISO-9001:2015 certification for PNSC Workshop The scope of certification covers repair and maintenance of marine vessels and crafts including electrical, electronics, mechanical, deck and hull work, along with associated services such as Ultrasonic Thickness Gauging, Liferafts, Lifeboat, LSA/FFA and GMDSS services. The certifying body must be accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS). The workshop employs managerial staff (45), skilled workers (62), and unskilled workers (26). The processes include repair and maintenance of electrical and electronic equipment, pipe and plate fabrication, valve and pump maintenance, machining of mechanical components, marine engine repairs, ultrasonic thickness gauging, servicing of lifeboats, life rafts, lifesaving and firefighting appliances, and GMDSS radio system inspection. Eligible bidders must be internationally recognized certification organizations accredited by UKAS, have at least one year of relevant experience, be registered with FBR and on the Active Taxpayers List, and not be blacklisted by any government or public sector entity. Bid security in the form of a Pay Order or Bid Securing Declaration is mandatory. Proposals must be submitted online via EPADS v2.0 by Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Financial proposals will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM. Manual submissions are not accepted. Bidders not registered on EPADS v2.0 are advised to register promptly.
