Tender Description
The National Highway Authority (NHA), Sindh North Region, Sukkur, is procuring consultancy services for a detailed feasibility study focused on the construction of proper U-turns at City Point and the construction of a service road along the Sukkur Bypass (N-65). This consultancy aims to provide a comprehensive technical assessment to support infrastructure improvements in the region.
The scope includes engineering consultancy for the design and planning of U-turns and service road construction, ensuring compliance with national highway standards. The project site is along the Sukkur Bypass, a critical transport artery requiring enhanced traffic management solutions. Interested firms must have valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration in the relevant category and be enlisted on the active Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) tax payer list. The detailed eligibility criteria are outlined in the Request for Proposal (RFP) document.
RFP documents can be obtained free of cost from the NHA website or purchased from the Director Maintenance office at NHA Complex, Airport Road, Sukkur. The submission deadline is 6th July 2026 by 11:30 AM at the office of the General Manager Sindh North, NHA, Sukkur. Proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked with the tender title. The procurement will follow the Single Stage Two Envelopes procedure, with technical proposals opened first, followed by financial proposals of technically qualified firms.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure their technical proposals are bound in hard copy to prevent removal or addition of pages, and to secure EPADS (PPRA) registration promptly to avoid disqualification. Earnest Money or CDR requirements and other submission details are provided in the RFP. This tender offers a valuable opportunity for engineering consultants to contribute to significant infrastructure development in Sindh under the Ministry of Communications.
