Consultancy Services for ITS Specialist for Karachi BRT Project

Sindh Mass Transit Authority (SMTA) invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the hiring of an ITS Specialist (Individual Consultant) for the Karachi Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project. The consultancy is part of the ongoing efforts to enhance the Intelligent Transport System (ITS) for the BRT corridor in Karachi, under the project reference IBRD-8995-PK. The selected consultant will provide technical expertise and support for the design, implementation, and integration of ITS components in the BRT system. Items being procured: - ITS Specialist (Individual Consultant) for Karachi BRT The scope of work includes reviewing and advising on ITS architecture, integration of fare collection and management systems, and ensuring compliance with international standards. The consultant will also coordinate with the project management team and other stakeholders to ensure timely and effective delivery of ITS solutions. Applicants must have relevant experience in ITS for BRT or similar mass transit systems, with a proven track record in project implementation and technical advisory roles. Proposals received after the deadline will not be considered.
