Tender Description
National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), one of the largest commercial banks in Pakistan, is procuring consultancy services for the development of an Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDWH) and Data Lakehouse initiative. This procurement is specifically managed by the National Bank of Pakistan in Karachi, Sindh. The consultancy will cover a comprehensive strategy development including process flow, timelines, functional specifications, and high-level hardware and software requirements for the data platform.
The scope includes developing a future state data strategy aligned with business priorities and regulatory requirements, designing a target operating model for a centralized Data Analytics & Insights Division, conducting enterprise-wide requirements analysis, and architecting scalable data platform options. The consultancy will also provide high-level budgetary estimates, benchmark industry best practices, establish data governance frameworks, identify advanced analytics use cases, assist in RFP development for the next procurement stage, and support vendor assessment and contract review.
Eligible bidders must be registered firms with SECP or recognized government registration, have a verifiable physical office in Pakistan, be active taxpayers on the FBR ATL, and have relevant audited financial statements showing aggregate revenue of at least PKR 500 million over the last three years. Firms must have been profitable for the last three years and have a minimum of seven years in the services business. Experience in consultancy or implementation of enterprise data warehouse or similar projects for Islamic banks, commercial banks, microfinance banks, or fintech in the last five years is mandatory. Joint ventures are allowed and will be evaluated on aggregate capacity.
The submission deadline is **07 July 2026 at 3:00 PM** via the E-PADS system on the PPRA website. Technical bids will be opened the same day at 3:30 PM. The procurement follows the Quality and Cost Based Selection method under the Procurement of Consultancy Services Regulations, 2010 and 2021. Interested bidders should ensure all required documents including compliance affidavits and financial statements are submitted.
