Consultant Appointment for Development of Masterplan and Construction Supervision of 500-Bedded Tertiary Care Teaching Hospital at DHA City Karachi

Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS), Karachi, a renowned public sector university, invites experienced and well-reputed companies, bidders, and firms for the appointment of a consultant. The procurement is for the development of a schematic masterplan, architectural design, structural design, HVAC, electrical, PHE, fire fighting, medical gases, infrastructure, landscaping, and resident construction supervision. This project is for the establishment of a 500-bedded tertiary care teaching hospital with provision for an additional 250 beds for future expansion, including a college accommodating 2800 students for medicine and allied medical fields, as well as a liver transplant unit (Medical Complex 'A') at the DUHS campus located in DHA City, Karachi. Items being procured: - Development of schematic masterplan - Architectural design - Structural design - HVAC design - Electrical design - Public Health Engineering (PHE) - Fire fighting systems - Medical gases infrastructure - General infrastructure - Landscaping - Resident construction supervision The scope covers comprehensive consultancy services encompassing all technical aspects of hospital and educational facility design and supervision at a large scale. The consultant must have relevant PEC categories and valid registration with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Sindh Revenue Service Board, and Sales Tax authorities. Experience in similar large-scale healthcare and educational infrastructure projects is essential. The tender fee is Rs. 10,000 payable via Pay Order or Demand Draft in favor of Dow University of Health Sciences, Karachi. Bid security and performance security are required as per bidding documents. Electronic bids must be submitted through the EPADS system before the closing deadline of 18-08-2026 at 10:00 AM. Manual bids will not be accepted. Bids will be opened on the same day at 11:00 AM.
