Conversion of Tower Nos. 42 & 43 of 220kV D/C Twin Bundle Transmission Line from Suspension Type to Tension Type

The National Grid Company (NGC) of Pakistan Limited, Lahore, invites experienced and PEC licensed contractors for the construction and completion of civil works, erection, stringing, testing, and commissioning for the conversion of Tower Nos. 42 & 43 of the 220kV Double Circuit Twin Bundle Transmission Line Sheikhupura-Ravi Circuit I & II from suspension type to tension type. This project is located near Motorway Interchange Kot Pindi Das, District Sheikhupura, Punjab. The scope includes clearing right-of-way, detailed survey and staking, sub-soil investigations, reinforced concrete pile foundations, steel tower erection, conductor and OPGW stringing, installation of insulators, hardware, dampers, and all associated works necessary for completion. The contractor must have own tension stringing equipment, provide all necessary manpower, tools, and equipment, and comply with all safety and environmental regulations. The contract requires submission of detailed construction schedules, method statements, and quality assurance plans. Eligibility criteria include PEC license minimum category C-4, active taxpayer status, and no blacklisting by any government or donor agency. The bid security is Rs. 1.5 million and must be submitted in original before bid closing. Bids must be submitted through e-PADS only by 18 May 2026 at 11:00 AM. Technical bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM at the office of Executive Engineer (EHV-I) T/L'C' Division NGC Lahore. The contractor is advised to visit the site and examine all conditions before bidding.
