Construction of Corridor 1 and Corridor 6 Works for Karachi Bus Rapid Transit Red Line Project

TransKarachi invites sealed bids from eligible and reputable construction firms for the execution of civil works under the Karachi Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Red Line Project, specifically for Corridor 1 (Malir Halt to Numaish) and Corridor 6 (Numaish to Tower). The works are to be carried out in Karachi under the supervision of TransKarachi, the project implementing agency. Items being procured: - Construction of Corridor 1 (Malir Halt to Numaish) including all associated civil works - Construction of Corridor 6 (Numaish to Tower) including all associated civil works The technical scope includes the construction of dedicated BRT corridors, stations, roadworks, drainage, utility relocation, and all related infrastructure as per the detailed engineering designs. The total length of the corridors is approximately 10.5 km, with multiple stations and supporting facilities. The estimated cost for the works is **PKR 4,390 Million**. Bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in Category C-A or above with specialization codes CE-01, CE-02, and CE-10. International firms may participate in joint ventures with local firms. All bidders must provide an Earnest Money/ Bid Security of **PKR 50,000** or **USD 200** in the form of a Pay Order or Demand Draft in favor of **TransKarachi**. Bidding documents can be obtained from the office of TransKarachi, C-89, Block 2, Clifton, Karachi, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of **PKR 15,000**. The last date for submission of bids is **7 March 2026** at 12:30 PM. Bids will be opened on the same day at 12:35 PM in the presence of bidders' representatives.
