Tender Description
This tender invites contractors in Usta Muhammad, Balochistan, through the Public Health Engineering Department, for de-silting works on raw water tanks and pumping machinery. The procurement covers civil works and mechanical equipment maintenance, essential for water storage and supply.
The project involves clearing silt from raw water tanks to restore maximum storage capacity and servicing pumping machinery. These tasks require skilled labor and specialized equipment to handle sediment removal and machinery upkeep, ensuring efficient water flow and storage in Usta Muhammad's challenging environment.
Bidders must hold valid PEC registration in the relevant category with specialization in Water Supply Schemes (WSS). They should have completed at least three similar projects in the last three years and maintain an average turnover of 70% of the project cost. Active registration with FBR and Balochistan Revenue Authority is mandatory, along with GST compliance for the fiscal year 2025-26.
Submission deadline is set for 3rd April 2026 at 12:00 PM, with technical bids opening the same day at 1:00 PM. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the office of the Deputy Commissioner Usta Muhammad. The bid security requires 2% of the project cost in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt from a scheduled bank.
Pro-Tip: Ensure your bid documents include the non-judicial stamp paper authorization letter attested by a first-class magistrate, as missing this often leads to disqualification. Also, verify the bid security format carefully to avoid rejection.
