Development of BDA Plots/Yard as Green Yards at Gadani Shipbreaking Yard

The Modernization and Upgradation of Gadani Shipbreaking and Recycling Industry and Development of Allied Facilities (MUGSBRI) under the Balochistan Development Authority in Quetta is procuring civil works for the development of BDA plots/yard as green yards at Gadani Shipbreaking Yard, District Hub. This project is part of the FY 2025-26 plan and involves extensive earthworks, concrete laying, reinforcement, finishing, and installation of infrastructure to transform the plots into green yards. The technical scope includes levelling and dressing the ground, earth filling, compaction, excavation, concrete works including various grades and thicknesses, steel reinforcement, terrazzo flooring, painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and installation of solar panels and lighting systems. The site is located in Gadani, Balochistan, and the work schedule is 27 days. Eligible bidders must have relevant PEC categories, FBR registration, and proven experience in similar development works at Gadani Shipbreaking Yard. Joint ventures are allowed with up to two members. Financial capacity requirements include an average annual turnover of Rs. 700 million and net worth of Rs. 500 million. Bidders must submit a technical and financial bid through EPADS v2.0 by the submission deadline of May 26, 2026, 08:00 AM. Manual bids are not accepted. The bid security must be submitted in the form of Call Deposit or Bank Guarantee, and a performance guarantee of 10% of the contract price will be required upon award.
