Tender for Development, Excavation and Transportation of Rock Salt Contract for Tunnel No. 26 at PMDC Salt Mines, Khewra

The Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) invites bids for the tender titled 'Development, Excavation and Transportation/Carriage of Rock Salt contract for Tunnel No. 26 at PMDC Salt Mines, Khewra'. Mixing of fines locally called 'soor' is not acceptable. Items being procured: - Raising/excavation and separation of good quality rock salt from Tunnel No. 26 (24000 mt annually) - Fragmentation of boulders for loading in tractor trolleys - Transportation of rock salt from Tunnel No. 26 to Khewra Depot (24000 mt annually) - Transportation of rock salt from Tunnel No. 26 to M/s. LCI Khewra (direct) including loading and unloading The scope covers excavation and transportation services at the PMDC Salt Mines in Khewra. Bidders must have relevant experience, valid registration certificates, and financial soundness proof. Bid security of PKR 600,000 is required. The procurement will follow the Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique under the Single Stage One Envelope procedure. Bids must be submitted online through EPADS v2.0 by Monday, October 12, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Manual bids will not be accepted. The bid opening will be held on the same day at 11:30 AM on EPADS v2.0.
