Tender Description
The National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) Islamabad is inviting electronic bids for the disposal of various condemned, salvage, and demolition items on an As-Is-Where-Is basis. This procurement is specifically managed by the Works Directorate at NUST H-12 Campus, Islamabad. The disposal includes a range of items that are no longer usable or have been marked for demolition, stored at the Works Directorate site.
Bidders must be registered with PPRA for e-procurement on the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (e-PADS V2.0). Additionally, bidders are required to have valid NADRA CNIC and be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for both Income Tax and Sales Tax, with active taxpayer status on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL). The bidding process is electronic only; manual bids will not be accepted.
The bid security or earnest money deposit (EMD) is set at a substantial amount of **PKR 500,000**, payable to NUST Works Directorate before the bid closing time. This earnest money is crucial to ensure serious participation and will be forfeited if the bidder withdraws or fails to comply with the terms. Interested bidders can inspect the condemned items from 20 July 2026 to 27 July 2026 between 10:00 and 16:00 hours at the Works Directorate premises.
The deadline for bid submission is **28 July 2026 at 11:00 hours**, with bid opening scheduled the same day at 11:30 hours online. Bidders should carefully review the detailed terms and conditions available on the EPADS portal to avoid disqualification. One practical tip for bidders is to ensure their bid security is submitted timely and in the correct format, as bids without the required earnest money will be outright rejected. This tender offers a valuable opportunity for firms specializing in asset disposal and salvage operations to engage with a prestigious institution in Islamabad.
