Tender Description
Jamshoro Power Company Limited (JPCL) invites qualified contractors or firms for the hiring of services related to the disposal of Fly Ash, Bottom Ash, and Gypsum generated as by-products from its 660 MW Coal Fired Power Plant located in Jamshoro, Sindh. This procurement is critical for maintaining environmental compliance and operational efficiency at the power plant.
Items being procured:
- Disposal of Fly Ash
- Disposal of Bottom Ash
- Disposal of Gypsum
The scope involves comprehensive disposal services for these by-products, ensuring safe and environmentally sound handling and removal from the JPCL site. The project requires contractors to have relevant experience in waste disposal services, particularly in handling coal combustion residues. Bidders must be registered as Active Tax Payers with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and Sindh Revenue Board, and must not be blacklisted or barred from government contracts.
The bidding process follows a Single Stage-One Envelope procedure under PPRA rules, with evaluation based on Least Cost Based Selection to identify the most advantageous bidder. The Earnest Money (Bid Security) required is PKR 2,000,000. The bid validity period is 90 days from the proposal opening date.
Key dates include a Pre-Bid Conference on 27th July 2026 at 12:00 Noon in the conference room on the 1st Floor of the Administration Building at JPCL Jamshoro. The closing date and time for bid submission is on or before 11:00 hrs on 5th August 2026, with bid opening at 11:30 hrs the same day. Submission is electronic through the EPAD system, and tender documents are available for download via the PPRA website through EPADs.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure all documentary evidence of FBR and Sindh Revenue Board registration is complete and up to date before submission. Early registration on EPAD and thorough review of the bidding documents will help avoid last-minute technical disqualifications.
