Disposal of Old Unserviceable and Out of Order Engineering Items

The State Bank of Pakistan Banking Services Corporation in Karachi is offering an opportunity for suppliers to participate in the disposal of old, unserviceable, and out of order engineering items from multiple locations including North Nazimabad, Bolton Market Building, KDA Bungalow, and the Main Bank Building on I.I. Chundrigar Road. This procurement involves a wide range of scrap materials such as CI pipes, steel doors, wooden doors, MDF and metallic framing, gypsum board false ceilings, aluminum sections, GI scrap, wood timber scrap, sanitary fittings, stainless steel scrap, submersible pumps, commodes, mirrors, paint gallons, ceramic basins, carpets, fiber glass tanks, FCUs, AHU units, solenoid valves, battery chargers, chiller pumps, copper pipes, fans, electrical fittings, used engine oil, coal, precast RCC slabs, copper cables, and metal drums. The items are sold on an 'As is where is' basis, and bidders are encouraged to visit the site to assess the condition and quantity of materials before submitting their bids. Eligible bidders must comply with the requirements including submission of Earnest Money in the form of a Pay Order or Bank Draft amounting to Rs. 100,000 in favor of SBP Banking Services Corporation. Bidders should be registered with FBR and have a clean record without blacklisting or litigation history. The bid validity period is 180 days, and bids must be submitted in a single stage, single envelope procedure as per PPRA Rules 2004. The successful bidder will be required to pay the full quoted amount within 14 working days of the Letter of Award and before removal of materials from the premises.
