Tender Description
The State Bank of Pakistan, Banking Services Corporation, Multan Office is procuring services for the Disposal of Shredded Waste of Currency Notes at SBP BSC Multan. This procurement is specifically for the disposal of shredded waste with an estimated annual quantity of 650,000 kilograms. The contract period is one year with the possibility of extension for two additional years on the same terms and conditions, including the specified quantity for the extended period, subject to mutual agreement.

- Disposal of Shredded Waste of Currency Notes (650,000 kg annually)
The scope of work includes arranging vehicles and suitable workers at the contractor's own cost for disposal within 7 working days of receiving verbal or written advice from the Bank. The contractor must provide plastic seals or jute twine for sealing bags, be responsible for weighing the waste using their own weighing machine, loading, unloading, and subsequent disposal. Vehicle and personnel details must be provided in advance for security clearance. The waste will be weighed and loaded in the presence of Bank representatives and taken out only after issuance of a gate pass. The contractor is responsible for the safety of their employees, Bank staff, and property, and must comply with all security protocols.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to be registered with tax authorities and appear on the Active Taxpayers List of FBR, not be blacklisted or debarred by any organization including NACTA, and submit a security deposit of Rs. 75,000 along with the technical bid. The contract requires a performance guarantee of Rs. 200,000. Bidders must submit a single sealed package containing separate technical and financial proposals. The bid validity period is 180 days.
The submission deadline is **29th July 2026 at 11:00 AM** at the office of the Chief Manager, SBP Banking Services Corporation, Multan. Bids will be opened the same day at 11:30 AM. The contractor must deposit the value of shredded waste before lifting along with applicable advance tax and any other statutory levies. The rate per kilogram is Rs. 14 as reserve price. The contract may be terminated by the Bank at any time without prior notice.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure all required documents including the security deposit and tax registration certificates are complete and submitted as per instructions. Late or incomplete bids will be rejected. Also, strictly comply with the Bank's security protocols and provide all vehicle and personnel details in advance to avoid delays during lifting operations.
