Tender Description
The Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) invites bids for the disposal of unserviceable store material through an e-auction process in Hyderabad, Sindh. This procurement involves the sale of various unserviceable items on an 'as is where is' basis. Bidders are required to inspect the materials themselves to satisfy their quality and condition before submitting offers. The disposal includes multiple lots with earnest money deposits required in the form of CDR or bank guarantees valid for 120 days, issued by scheduled banks in Pakistan. The disposal process is governed by strict terms including full payment within 21 working days of the Letter of Acceptance and removal of materials within the same period, failing which rental charges apply. The tender is managed by the Material Management Directorate of HESCO Hyderabad.
Eligible bidders must ensure their firms are not blacklisted by any government or related entities such as NGC, WAPDA, DISCOs, or GENCOs. Earnest money must be submitted in the bidder's own name, and bids without the required earnest money will be rejected. Taxes including 18% GST and 10% Income Tax will be applicable on the bid price as per government regulations. The disposal committee reserves the right to accept or reject any bid without assigning reasons and may extend deadlines or cancel the tender as deemed necessary.
Bidders should note the importance of submitting sealed bids before the closing date and time, and ensure compliance with all terms and conditions outlined in the bidding documents. A practical tip for bidders is to thoroughly inspect the materials on site before bidding to avoid any disputes later, as no claims will be entertained post submission. This tender offers a valuable opportunity for suppliers interested in acquiring unserviceable materials through a transparent e-auction process managed by a reputable public sector entity.
