Tender Description
The Swabi Irrigation Division-I Swabi, under the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Irrigation Department, is procuring dredging and desilting services for urban waterways across multiple locations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This tender covers critical flood waterways and nullahs in districts including Mardan and Swabi, with a total estimated cost of **PKR 47.93 million** as part of the NON ADP 2025-26 financial year.
The technical scope includes desilting and clearance of nullahs and flood waterways such as Muqam Nullah, Rustam Khwar Aqueduct, Badri Nullah, Zanday Nullah, Naranji Nullah, Shagai Nullah, and flood carrier channels. The work involves excavation, removal of silt, and restoration of water flow capacity to mitigate flood risks. Contractors must have valid PEC registration with relevant specialization codes CE-03(iii), CE-04(ii), or CE-04(vii), a renewed license for the current financial year 2025-26, and active FBR and KPPRA status.
Bidders are required to submit their bids electronically through the EPADS system before the deadline of **13 May 2026 at 12:00 PM**. The bid opening will occur the same day at 12:30 PM. Earnest Money of 2% of the estimated cost must be submitted as a call deposit. At least two performance certificates for similar works with minimum values depending on sub-work categories are mandatory. The tender documents and bidding instructions are available on the KPPRA and Irrigation Department websites.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all required documents including CNIC copies, valid enlistment certificates, and performance certificates are uploaded correctly in one PDF file on EPADS. Incomplete or conditional bids with missing or altered documents will be rejected as non-responsive. This careful preparation can save time and avoid disqualification in this competitive tender.
