Annual Tender for Mustahiq Patients from Zakat Fund: Drugs, Lab Tests, Emergency Medicines, Orthopaedic Implants 2026-2027

Dr. Ruth K.M. Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi, through its Health Welfare Committee, invites eligible suppliers, manufacturers, importers, and authorized distributors to participate in the annual tender for the supply of essential medical items for mustahiq patients from the Zakat Fund for the financial year 2026-2027. The procurement is being conducted via the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) under Rule 46(1) Single Stage-One Envelope Procedure. The hospital is located on Baba e Urdu Road, Karachi, and all bids must be submitted electronically through the EPADS portal. Items being procured: - Purchases of Drugs / Medicines (2.5 percent Bid Security, Rs. 3,000 Bidding Document Cost) - Lab Tests / Biopsy Reports / Plasma Apheresis (2.5 percent Bid Security, Rs. 3,000 Bidding Document Cost) - Local Purchases of Drugs / Medicines (24 Hours / 7 Days on Emergency Basis) (2.5 percent Bid Security, Rs. 3,000 Bidding Document Cost) - Orthopaedic Implants (2.5 percent Bid Security, Rs. 3,000 Bidding Document Cost) The technical scope covers the supply of a wide range of medicines, laboratory diagnostic services, emergency pharmaceutical supplies, and orthopaedic implants as per the hospital's requirements. Quantities will be as per demand, with emergency items required on a 24/7 basis. Bidders must be on the Active Taxpayers List of FBR/SRB, possess a valid drugs license, and provide GST/NTN certificates. Experience of at least three years in tertiary care hospital supply and satisfactory performance certificates are mandatory. Bid Security of 2.5 percent of the quoted price must be submitted in the form of a Pay Order or Demand Draft in favour of the Medical Superintendent. The tender fee is **PKR 3,000** (non-refundable) per lot. Bidding documents are available from **13th August 2026** until **29th August 2026, 11:00 AM**.
