Tender Description

The Highways Division Muzaffargarh invites tenders from eligible Engineering firms and contractors for the dualization and improvement of a metalled road from Muzaffargarh Alipur Head Punjnad Taranda Muhammad Pannah Road (N-70) to District Boundary Muzaffargarh (M-5) with a total length of 90.00 Km, specifically Phase-I covering 12.00 Km in District Muzaffargarh. The project is under the supervision of the Executive Engineer Highways Division Muzaffargarh and the Superintending Engineer Highways Circle D.G. Khan. Items being procured: - Dualization / Improvement of metalled road - Road length: 12.00 Km in District Muzaffargarh The tender follows a Single Stage Two Envelope procedure requiring technical and financial proposals to be submitted on item rates basis. Only firms registered with PEC in the relevant category and having valid registration with Punjab PPRA website are eligible. Firms must provide valid registration certificates, affidavits regarding litigation and blacklisting status, and submit a Bid Security equal to 5% of the estimated cost. The contract duration is 18 months. Technical bids will be opened on 28.09.2026 at 01:00 PM by the tender opening committee. Bidders must have sound experience in construction of roads and pile foundation bridge works including allied structures like side drains in urban or rural areas. Rigid pavement shall be laid using concrete batching plant and concrete paving machine, and TST/DST/Surfacing will be executed by mechanized system. Bidders are advised to carefully follow the PPRA rules and ensure all required documents are uploaded on the E-Procurement System Portal. Recovery against credit of old materials will be adjusted manually. The procuring agency may reject all bids or proposals under PPRA Rule-35.
