E-Bidding for Rehabilitation and Maintenance Works of Upper Bieelum Hydro Power Stations AJK PDO

The Azad Jammu & Kashmir Power Development Organization (AJK PDO) invites electronic bids under the Single Stage Single Envelope E-Bidding System in accordance with PPRA Rules 36(b) from eligible firms and contractors registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the appropriate categories. The procurement is for rehabilitation and maintenance/protection works of Upper Bieelum Hydro Power Stations located in Muzaffarabad, AJK. Items being procured: - Rehabilitation and Maintenance/Protection Works of Upper Bieelum Hydro Power Stations including Sharada PS 750KW, Keil Matgala, Nargalla (Jhari), 500KW KEL Kalalot, 8.350MW Idalmat PS (Shtago, Tubrk PS) - Protection/Protection Works at 33KV Jhangran Viotton, Colony 2NIW Kundel Shahi, 33KV Inter Connection & 33KV Jhing, 132KV TL Jagtan, 420 & 300KW Fatika HPS (Stage II) The scope includes technical rehabilitation and protection works at multiple hydro power stations and associated electrical infrastructure. Bidders must be registered with PEC category C-5 and above for rehabilitation works and C-6 and above for protection works. Earnest money of Rs. 66,000 is required as bid security, payable via call deposit or cash deposit in favor of the undersigned from any scheduled bank in Pakistan or Bank of AJK. Bidders already registered with the department's E-Bidding system should use their existing login credentials. Bid documents and instructions are available on the E-Bidding dashboard and the official website https//crrydlgnders'aik'Eov'pk'. Electronic bids must be submitted by the deadline of 05.11.2026 at 11:30 am, after which bids will be opened online in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. Additional performance security is required if the quoted bid price is less than 10% below the estimated cost. Bidders must upload scanned copies of bid security and relevant documents on the dashboard. Technical bids must be complete and signed, submitted through E-Bidding within 48 hours of bid opening. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids under clause 33 of AJK PPRA. Bidders providing false information or forged documents will be disqualified for two years. The software supports only PDF file format for uploads.
