Karachi Metropolitan Corporation Engineering Department invites bids for Electrical Work at Women Sport Complex Karachi. Items being procured: - Providing & fixing of flood lights 400 watts (HPIT) with IP65 classification, including lamp, choke, capacitor, igniter & internal wiring, quantity 28 Nos. - Providing/Installation of tube rod LED 36 to 40 Watts, quantity 41 Nos. - Dismantling of street light fitting 250 watts with hydraulic crane, including loading, unloading and transportation, quantity 28 Nos. - Providing, Installation, Commissioning and Testing of Split Air Conditioners with 2 Tons cooling capacity, floor mounted type, quantity 12 Jobs. - Providing/Fixing of Ceiling panel Fans size 600mmx600mm, quantity 25 Jobs. The scope includes installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical equipment at the Women Sport Complex Karachi. The work requires use of hydraulic cranes for installation and dismantling at heights up to 40 feet. The contractor must ensure compliance with all technical specifications and site requirements. Eligibility criteria include valid PEC registration in C-6, EE-06 or above, NTN certificate, active tax payer status, registration with Sindh Revenue Board, valid Electric Contractors License from Electrical Inspector Government of Sindh Karachi Region, and proof of PEC registered engineer working with the firm. The contractor must have executed similar works in the past five years with at least one work equivalent to 80% of the estimated cost or two works equivalent to 50% of the estimated cost. Bank statements for the last five years confirming financial soundness with minimum annual turnover not less than the estimated cost are required. Bids must be submitted online via the EPADS system as per SPPRA Sindh regulations. Manual bids will not be accepted. The bid must be signed and stamped by the company with all corrections initialed. Pay orders for bid security and tender cost must be submitted physically before bid opening. An affidavit on stamp paper worth Rs. 200/- declaring the firm is not blacklisted must also be submitted. The bid validity period is 90 days. Performance security of 5% of the estimated cost is required. Liquidity damages of Rs. 3,000 per day will be imposed for late completion.
