The technical scope includes procurement of high-quality electro-medical equipment from reputed manufacturers in USA, Japan, or Europe with certifications such as MHLW, FDA, or CE. Each item carries a 5-year warranty covering all spare parts and requires preventive maintenance and prompt service response within 2 hours. The equipment must meet detailed technical specifications including power supply, frequency, weight, and operational modes as per the bidding documents.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to have valid FBR registration, PEC registered biomedical engineers, DRAP licenses, and at least 3 years of experience supplying similar equipment to public or tertiary care hospitals. Bid security must be submitted as Pay Order or Call Deposit. Bidders must provide technical brochures, quality certifications, and demonstrate after-sales service infrastructure.
Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by Monday, November 2, 2026, at 09:30 AM. Original bid security must be physically submitted to FGPC Islamabad before the deadline. Technical and financial bids will be opened on the same day at 10:00 AM. Manual bids will not be accepted.
A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 09:30 AM at FGPC Islamabad. Bidders are advised to register on EPADS v2.0 and review all bidding documents carefully. The procurement will follow Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. The successful bidder will be required to provide a 3% performance guarantee and comply with all contract terms including warranty, installation, training, and after-sales support.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure all technical documentation, certifications, and service commitments are complete and uploaded on EPADS before the deadline. Early registration and participation in the pre-bid meeting can clarify requirements and improve bid responsiveness.
