Emergency Construction Works for Protective Bunds and Irrigation Channel in Gilgit

The Directorate of Water Management & Irrigation Gilgit-Baltistan invites sealed tenders under a single stage one envelope procedure for urgent emergency construction works. Items being procured: - Construction of Protective bund at Arab Khan land Danyour, Gilgit - Construction of Protective bund at Jutial Jugote Colony, Near Aqil Khan land, Halqa-3 Gilgit - Construction of Protective bund and rehabilitation of irrigation channel at Jutial Jagote Colony District Gilgit These works involve the construction of protective bunds at specified locations and rehabilitation of irrigation channels to improve water management and flood protection. The projects require experienced contractors with PEC registration valid through 2027 and adherence to technical standards. Bidding documents can be obtained from the office of the Deputy Director Water Management & Irrigation District Gilgit, located at Street No 9 opposite Supreme Appellate Court Jutial Gilgit, upon submission of a written application and required documents including PEC registration, CNIC copy, power of attorney if applicable, and no litigation certificate. Tender fees must be paid via Treasury-Challan. Earnest money of 3% of the estimated cost must be submitted in the form of CDR from a scheduled bank at the time of financial bid submission. Bids quoting rates above the technical sanction amount will be considered unworkable. The sealed bids must be delivered by the specified closing date and time and will be opened on the same day in the presence of bidders. The closing date for submission is **17-11-2026** with opening times staggered for each work item. Bidders should ensure no overwriting on documents and comply fully with PPRA rules.
