Enameled Copper Wire, Paper Covered Copper Strip and Transformer Oil Supply for LESCO

LESCO Lahore invites bids for supply of Enameled Copper Wire for HT Coils of Transformers, Paper Covered Copper Strip Size-5.5 x 7 mm, and Transformer Oil under Tender No 4343. This procurement is critical for the FY 2025-26 and falls under Power, Electrical & Solar Equipment category in Lahore, Punjab. The contract requires delivery of 15,000 Kgs of copper wire, 8,000 Kgs of copper strip, and 20,000 liters of transformer oil within 60 days from the issuance of purchase order. The materials must comply with BS 4516, BS 4653, and IEC-60296 & 60422 standards respectively. Prototype approval from PPMC Design & Standards Department is mandatory before mass production. Delays in prototype submission will incur liquidated damages. The supplier must ensure quality and timely delivery to LESCO regional stores at Shalamar, Walgon Sohail, and Pattoki. Bidders must be prequalified manufacturers registered with FBR and on the Active Taxpayers List. Bid security of 5% of the contract value is required in the form of Pay Order, Bank Guarantee, or Call Deposit Receipt from specified scheduled banks. The contract price is fixed and payable in PKR. Performance security of 5% of contract price is required within 7 days of LOI issuance. The warranty period is 12 months from delivery acceptance. Submission deadline is 21 April 2026 at 10:30 AM via EPADS v2.0 portal only. Bids will be opened the same day at 11:00 AM. Manual bids are not accepted. The contract will be awarded on Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) basis. The contract includes provisions for liquidated damages of 2% per month up to 10% for late delivery.
