Establishment of Wifi Network over Fiber Optic at Sindh Secretariat Karachi

The National Telecom Corporation (Development South Directorate, NTC Karachi) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of goods for the establishment of a Wifi Network over Fiber Optic at Sindh Secretariat, Karachi. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and aims to enhance the telecommunication infrastructure within the Sindh Secretariat. Items being procured: - Establishment of Wifi Setup over Optical Fiber Cable including Firewall, Layer-3 Aggregation Switches, Wireless Access Controllers, RADIUS/AAA Authentication solution, Network Monitoring Software, Managed PoE Switches, Indoor and Outdoor Access Points, Laptops, Rectifiers, UPS, Battery Banks, PDUs, Racks, Optical Fiber Cables and accessories, Cat-6 cables and accessories, PCM cables, and installation services. - Test Equipment & Tools including OTDR, Splicing Machine, Optical Power Meter, Optical Fiber Tool Kits, and Optical Laser Source. The technical scope covers supply, installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning of the Wifi network equipment and related fiber optic infrastructure at the Sindh Secretariat. The project includes high-capacity switches, next-generation firewalls, Wi-Fi 7 access points, authentication servers, and power backup systems to ensure robust and secure wireless connectivity. Eligibility criteria require bidders to be registered with FBR and SRB, hold a valid PEC certificate in categories EE07 and EE08, have experience in similar Wifi solutions within the last three years, maintain an active taxpayer status, and not be blacklisted. A minimum turnover of PKR 5 million per annum with supporting tax returns is mandatory.
