Extension of 132 kV Power Transformer Bay (T-3) at 132 KV Grid Station Kahuta City under IESCO Multiyear Tariff

The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Extension of 132 kV Power Transformer Bay (T-3) at 132 KV Grid Station Kahuta City under IESCO Multiyear Tariff for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement is planned with an estimated cost of **PKR 7,600,457** including PST. The project involves comprehensive civil works including rehandling of gravel, excavation, cement concrete works, reinforced cement concrete, erection and removal of centering, fabrication and fixing of reinforcement, cable tray installation, pipeline laying, earth filling, and electrical wiring materials among others as detailed in the bill of quantities. Items being procured: - Rehandling of gravel work or excavated rock lead upto 30 meters - Excavation in shingle or gravel formation and rock not required ballasting - Cement concrete plain including placing, compacting, finishing and curing - Erection and removal of centering for RCC work - Reinforced cement concrete work with steel reinforcement - Supplying and fabrication of intermediate grade deformed reinforcement - Fixing 90-Lbs MS Rail with anchor bolts - Filling, watering and ramming earth under floors - Carriage of materials by truck upto 5 KM - Providing and fixing cable trays - Laying and jointing cement concrete reinforced pipeline - Supply and spreading of water born gravel - Leveling and dressing lawns - Brick work in cement sand mortar - Electrical wiring materials including PVC pipes, copper thimbles, glands, MCBs, nuts and bolts - RCC pre-stressed trench covers - Earthing pit arrangements and earth rods - Water quality monitoring and environmental mitigation measures The scope covers construction of the transformer bay at the specified grid station in Kahuta City, Punjab. Bidders must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) with Category C-6 specialization codes CE-10 & EE-05 and have valid registration with the relevant tax authorities. Experience of at least 10 years in similar works related to 132 kV Grid Stations or higher rating is mandatory. Bidders must demonstrate financial capacity with an average annual turnover of at least PKR 9.7 million and positive net worth. Joint ventures are allowed with up to two members. Bid security in the form of Call Deposit, Bank Guarantee or Demand Draft is required. Bids must be submitted electronically through EPADS v2.0 portal by **Monday, September 28, 2026 at 11:30 AM**.
