Prequalification for Provision of Facilities, Furniture and Bazar Supply Items at Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore and Turbat

Military Engineer Services, through HQ DW&CE (Navy), Sector E-8, Naval Complex, Islamabad, invites applications from eligible firms and contractors for prequalification and subsequent issue of tenders for supply and related works at various naval locations. The notice is issued under Clauses 13, 15 and 16 of the PPRA Rules 2004 and is intended for firms with relevant experience. Mandatory work and supply list: a) Provision of Certain Facilities at Karachi; b) Provision of Certain Facilities at Islamabad; c) Provision of Certain Facilities at Lahore; d) Provision of Certain Facilities at Turbat; e) Provision of Furniture at Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore and Turbat; f) Provision of Bazar Supply Items at Karachi; and g) Provision of Bazar Supply Items at Islamabad. No quantities, units, lot values or estimated costs are printed in the notice, so applicants should obtain the detailed tender documents after successful prequalification. Only firms or contractors enlisted with MES in category A or B, or with another government department and possessing experience of similar work, may apply. The company profile must include details of similar works completed or in hand during the last five years, including the sponsoring agency, work cost and performance report; enrolled manpower including engineers holding valid PEC numbers; tools, plants and machinery; bank statements for the last two years; and NTN, FBR, PEC and MES registration certificates. Valid PEC registration or renewal up to **30 June 2027** is required for issuance of tender documents. Tax compliance and ATL status should also be checked before submission. Applications must be delivered in sealed form to HQ DW&CE (Navy), Sector E-8, Naval Complex, Islamabad, by **11:30 hours on 27 August 2026**. Applications will be scrutinized and tenders issued only to prequalified firms. A bid security equal to **2% of the quoted bid cost** in favour of DW&CE (Navy), Islamabad, will be required with tender documents and is refundable to unsuccessful bidders. Practical tip: arrange PEC, MES and tax records early and secure verifiable performance certificates for comparable facilities or supply contracts.
