Tender Description
This tender invites contractors in Quetta under the Directorate General Agriculture, On Farm Water Management Balochistan, for construction and development works focused on farm ponds, dug wells, and solar pumping systems. The project also includes the provision of fruit plants, oilseeds, pulses, and fodder along with land preparation in District Khuzdar, emphasizing agricultural infrastructure and renewable energy integration.
The scope covers civil works involving excavation and construction of water retention structures, installation of solar-powered pumps to enhance irrigation efficiency, and agricultural inputs supply. The site in Khuzdar presents typical engineering challenges such as terrain adaptation and sustainable water management, requiring firms with proven experience in irrigation and solar energy projects.
Bidders must hold PEC registration in Category C-5 or above, with specialization codes CE04(v) for irrigation, CE09(ii) for water supply, CE10(i) for general civil engineering, and EE11(ii) for solar energy. Compliance with FBR Active Taxpayer List and submission of audit reports for FY 2022-23, 2023-24, and 2024-25 is mandatory. The firm should demonstrate financial capacity with a turnover of at least PKR 21,053,200 in the last three years.
The submission deadline is set for 03 April 2026 at 12:30 PM, with technical bids opening electronically at 01:30 PM the same day. Bids must be submitted physically at the Directorate General Agriculture office located at Rani Bagh, Saryab Road, Quetta. Bid security of 2% in the form of a Call Deposit or Bank Guarantee is required.
Pro-Tip: Ensure your bid includes the correct stamp duty and performance security as per policy, as these are common pitfalls that can lead to disqualification. Also, verify your PEC codes and financial documents thoroughly before submission to avoid technical rejection.
