This tender invites bids for the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a fire hydrant system at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Main Campus in Karachi. The project involves installing a comprehensive fire suppression system including electric and jockey pumps, controllers, piping, valves, hydrants, hose reels, and associated accessories. The system must comply with NFPA-20 and EN 12845 standards, ensuring high-quality materials such as stainless steel shafts, bronze impellers, and corrosion-resistant coatings are used. The site is located in Karachi, Sindh, requiring careful planning for installation within the campus premises while maintaining safety and accessibility.
Bidders must be registered with PEC in category C-6 or above with specialization ME-02, and active on the FBR tax list. The tender requires submission of technical and financial bids separately, with a bid security of 2% of the bid price. The contract includes a 5% performance security and a defect liability period of one year. The project completion time is 120 days from commencement. The tender fee is PKR 5,000, and the bid validity is 90 days.
