Fixing of Lights in Imam Bargahs during Mohram-Ul-Haram in TMC Lyari

The Town Municipal Corporation Lyari in Karachi, Sindh, is procuring services for providing and fixing lights in various Imam Bargahs during the religious period of Mohram-Ul-Haram. This procurement is specifically aimed at enhancing lighting infrastructure in these religious sites within TMC Lyari to ensure safety and proper illumination during the event. The technical scope includes the supply and installation of 250/400 watt holders, 250 watt SON-T lamps, igniters, GI single arm double arch poles, photo cells, switches, LED street lights of 50W and 100W, butterfly bodies with ceramic threaded holders, rowel bolts, PVC insulated wiring, insulation tape, and IPC connectors. The work involves use of hydraulic cranes for installation at heights up to 40 feet and requires adherence to site instructions by the Executive Engineer (M&E). Eligible bidders must possess a valid PEC category in the relevant field, registration with Sindh Revenue Board or Sales Tax, NTN certificate, and a valid electrical license issued by the Inspector of Electrical License Sindh for the region. Experience criteria include at least two similar assignments each costing 50% of the project or one assignment costing 80% within the last five years. Financial statements showing turnover not less than the project cost in the last five years are also required. The bid opening will take place at 11:30 AM the same day at the office of the Executive Engineer (M&E), Town Office, Chakiwara No. 01, Sharah-e-Abdul Raheem, Lyari Karachi. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure the original bid security in the form of a pay order or bank draft is submitted physically in a sealed envelope to the Tender Opening Committee office one day before bid opening.
