Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) invites well reputed Freight Forwarders to submit sealed quotations for the arrangement of dispatch of defense stores to Egypt by sea. The dispatch will be from Malir Cantt Karachi to Adabiya Sea Port, Egypt on CIF basis. This tender is issued by the Exports Division of POF located in Wah Cantt, with the shipment originating from Karachi, Sindh. Items being procured: - Freight forwarding services for dispatch of defense store - Shipment from Malir Cantt Karachi to Adabiya Sea Port Egypt - Handling of dangerous/explosive goods - Compliance with IMDG rules and regulations - Insurance coverage plus 10% of CIF value - Containerization and stuffing as per Export Division approval The scope includes arranging shipment on vessels that comply with age and size restrictions, ensuring no transshipment or call at Indian/Israeli ports, and providing all necessary shipping documents such as mate receipt and Bill of Lading. The freight must be quoted lump sum inclusive of SOC, insurance, stuffing, fumigation, lashing, loading, unloading, transportation, container, terminal handling, and stevedoring. The shipment is scheduled for August 2026. Eligibility criteria require firms to have handled at least three dangerous goods sea shipments in the last three years, supported by attested copies. Firms must provide valid registrations including IATA, FIATA, PIFFA, NTN, GST, Professional Tax, and shipping licenses.
