Tender Description
The Directorate General Procurement (Army) located near 502 Central Base Workshop EME, Main Adyala Road Rawalpindi invites sealed tenders from reputed firms possessing NTN Certificates for the supply of freight services. The procurement is conducted under PPRA rules and firms are advised to avoid quoting exorbitant rates.
Items being procured:
- Freight Services from USA to Pakistan (Parachute Personnel Troop Back), Quantity: 50 Nos
Tender documents and specifications can be obtained from DGP (Army) upon production of required documents including photocopy of registration certificate issued by Directorate General Defense Purchase (DGDP), attested copies of registration certificates from Sales Tax Department and NTN certificate, attested CNIC of MD, attested bank statement for last one year, certificates confirming firm is not defaulter or blacklisted, details of work experience with government or semi-government organizations, details of property/assets, and original Challan Form No. 32-A for Rs. 2000/- deposited in Government Treasury in favor of CMA (DP) Rawalpindi.
All registered firms must provide a Bid Security of 5% (upper limit Rs. 1.0 Million) along with their offer. The validity of the offer is 120 days from the opening date of the commercial offer. A Performance Bank Guarantee of 10% of the contract value is required within 30 days of signing the contract. Detailed terms and conditions are available in the tender documents.
The tender will be opened in the tender room of DGP (Army) in the presence of the firm's representatives. The last date for collection of tender documents is 22 September 2026. Submission of bids is on 24 September 2026 at 1030 hrs, with opening at 1100 hrs on the same day.
Bidders are advised to carefully prepare their documentation and ensure timely submission to avoid disqualification. Maintaining compliance with all required certificates and bid security is crucial for successful participation.
