Tender Description
The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPD), through its Regional Directorate of Special Education & Rehabilitation Centers, Karachi, is procuring a comprehensive range of furniture, fixtures, computer equipment, instruments, machinery, and other related equipment for the Government Special Education & Rehabilitation Center in Sukkur under the ADP scheme 704/2025-26. This procurement is part of the Construction, Reconstruction & Rehabilitation project of the center. The scope includes supply of office furniture such as chairs, tables, filing cabinets, and cupboards; physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, intellectual disability, physical disability, hearing impaired, and visual impaired units equipment; IT hardware including desktop PCs, printers, scanners, and air conditioners; arts and crafts materials; music instruments; and administrative supplies including multimedia equipment and CCTV systems.
Bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and Sindh Revenue Board (SRB), be on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL), and hold valid PEC registration in category C-4 with specialized fields EE09 and ME01. Experience with government or semi-government organizations in similar procurements is required. The tender fee is Rs. 5,000 per package, and a bid security of 5% of the total bid amount must be submitted in the form of pay order, demand draft, or bank guarantee valid for 28 days beyond the bid validity period of 90 days.
The technical bids will be opened on 21 May 2026 at 3:00 pm at the office of the Regional Directorate, Karachi, in the presence of bidders who wish to attend. Financial bids will be opened later for technically qualified bidders. Bidders are advised to carefully prepare their technical and financial proposals, ensuring all mandatory documents are submitted to avoid disqualification. Submission must be made through the official SPPRA e-procurement system (EPADS) by 2:00 pm on 21 May 2026. A hard copy of the bid submitted electronically must also be provided at the time of technical bid opening. No amendments or additional documents will be accepted after submission.
