Prequalification of Firms for Group Health Insurance Services for Air University Employees

Air University, based in Islamabad, is inviting prequalification bids from reputed and registered insurance companies for the provision of group health insurance services for its employees. The university requires firms with a minimum AA+ rating and a fully operational office in Islamabad, along with a proven track record in arranging group medical health insurance. The scope of services includes comprehensive medical health insurance coverage for all Air University employees (covering all campuses and the Faculty Medical Center) as well as their eligible dependents, specifically spouses and children. The total number of beneficiaries is approximately 4000, residing anywhere in Pakistan. Items being procured: - Group health insurance coverage for Air University employees (all campuses + FMC) and their eligible dependents (spouse and children only), approximately 4000 beneficiaries Applicants must deposit a non-refundable fee of PKR 5,000 in the form of a pay order on the date of technical bid opening. Prequalification documents are available on the EPADS 2.0 portal. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS 2.0 on or before 24 August 2026 at 1100 hours. Technical bids will be opened the same day at 1130 hours. Air University reserves the right to reject any or all bids or proposals prior to acceptance or to cancel the tendering process under PPRA Rule 33. A practical tip for interested bidders: Ensure your insurance company has a fully operational office in Islamabad and that your AA+ rating is current and verifiable, as these are strict eligibility requirements for this prequalification.
