Tender Description
The National Telecommunication Corporation (National Telecom Corporation (NTC)) invites bids for the Hanging/Fixing of 06 Fiber OFC from Golra More to 26 No. Chungi due to construction of N-5 from Rawalpindi to Hassanabdal in Islamabad Capital Territory. This procurement is for non-consultancy services under the financial year 2026-27. Items being procured:
- 6 Fiber SM OFC G.652 D compliance/Equivalent (2600 meters)
- Marking and Excavation in Kacha Trench 4' depth & 18" width laying of HDPE/PVC Pipe with pulling of OFC (5 meters)
- Marking and Excavation in Pacca Trench 4' depth & 18" width laying of HDPE/PVC Pipe with pulling of OFC (10 meters)
- Re-instatement of Pacca (10 units)
- Hanging/Fixing of OFC on WAPDA poles (2585 meters)
The scope includes site works involving trench excavation, laying of fiber optic cables, reinstatement, and fixing cables on existing WAPDA poles. Bidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0 and comply with eligibility criteria including FBR registration and technical competence. Bid security of PKR 40,000 is required. The procurement will follow the Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique under the Public Procurement Rules, 2026. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by Tuesday, November 17, 2026 at 10:30 AM. Manual bids will not be accepted. The bid opening will be held on the same day at 11:00 AM. The contract includes a performance guarantee of 10% of contract price and a warranty period of 12 months. Liquidated damages apply for delays beyond the completion date.
